Approved the Bill of Customer Service Services that aims to improve the rights of consumers
Companies in the sectors of water, gas and electricity supply services, passenger transport services, postal services, conditional access audiovisual media and electronic communications services, will have the obligation to have an effective system to provide information, as well as how to deal with and resolve complaints and claims expeditiously.
The meeting has made it possible to share experiences on the management of claims and the functioning of bodies for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
ECC-Spain provides consumers with nearly 100 standardised templates for complaining to businesses
Template complaint forms, available in English and Spanish on the European Consumer Centre website, will help consumers defend their rights.
State aid amounts to about two and a half million euros and will promote the activities of the Consumer Arbitration Boards.
The European Consumer Centre in Spain publishes a new brochure with information on the services offered by the ECC-Net network to consumers living in the EU, Iceland and Norway.
