Air passenger rights at risk under new EU proposal to reform existing rules

On the occasion of Europe Day, ECC-Spain is concerned about the European Commission's proposal to reform Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 on air passenger rights.

Spain establishes a new concept of justice and redefines mechanisms for out-of-court dispute resolution

Adopted the law that requires consumers to first negotiate through an Appropriate Means of Dispute Resolution before going to court, except in some cases such as the European Small Claims Procedure. Agreements reached in negotiation will be binding.

EU Council and European Parliament reach agreement on improving toy safety

The new rules limit the use of chemicals that may be dangerous to children.

The European Platform for Online Dispute Resolution will cease to be operational on 20 July

Users who want to keep the documentation stored on the platform must export it before 19 July 2025.
